After 33 years of full-time ministry, I was depressed and addicted; I had hit rock bottom. And this is when my ministry began.
Spiritual and emotional health are inseparable. In my addiction, I now understand my spiritual journey was held hostage by my emotional immaturity, and the consequence was the inability to be in real relationship.
I am now finding freedom in real relationship. Through the help of other men and the principles taught in the Freedom U Course, I’m recovering the life God intended for me to live. It’s hard to believe, but I’m grateful for my addiction. Because of it, I’m experiencing God, family, and myself in ways I couldn’t imagine.
Married for 35 years, we have four grown children. I have a B.S. and a Masters of Divinity degrees. I have been in ministry for 37 years and my desire is to share with other men the truths that have helped me so much.
